Thanks to my good friend, Sandy Wilson of Wilson Vineyards, we were able to do a quickie getaway for a couple of days up to Lake Tahoe! We stayed at the beautiful "Wilson Summer Cabin" up at Tahoe Donner, then went down to Edgelake Beach club on the North Shore during the day to enjoy the pool, hot tub and lake.

Driving back to Truckee the first day.The second day, Friday was sunnier at the Lake, but really smoky again once we went back over the hill to Truckee.

As you can see, it was so smoky driving home on Friday. There are about 1100 fires burning in CA right now...
